What’s New: Minute-based rentals and pricing!  

Minute-based rentals and pricing are officially supported in Booqable!

We’ve added support for minute-based fixed rental durations, to one-off pricing structures, and to pricing template structures. Products can be rented and priced by the minute, not just by the hour or day.

Other fixes and improvements

API documentation

• Improved and corrected the public API documentation in several areas that come up in integration questions: 

  • How rental dates relate to the company time zone

  • How long a payment link stays payable and where its hosted page lives

  • How webhooks are retried (and what a 410 response means) 

  • What the order search filter matches

• Payment “redirect_url” description was updated for accuracy, which previously said the opposite of what it does (it is the provider page the customer is sent to, not a return URL).

Products

• Improved search relevance when adding products to bundles or collections, so the most relevant products appear first.

• Fixed an issue where the automatic image finder could fail to save some suggested product images. Suggested images now save reliably.

Online store

• We’ve added alphabetical sorting to the webshop for products, so your customers can sort the product list A to Z.

• Previously, it was possible to apply a rental period without selecting the times, but the period would not update. The Apply button is now disabled until the full period is selected, so the dates always update correctly.

Settings

• The save buttons on the Settings > Preferences sections are now aligned to the right, for a more consistent layout.

Payments

• Fixed an issue where Klarna could fail at checkout, caused by an incomplete shipping address being sent to Stripe.

• PayPal deposit-only authorization holds can now be released without errors and is working correctly.
