How do online bookings actually reach my schedule?

When a customer books and pays on your rental website or booking page, the order automatically lands in your Booqable back office. The item they reserved is immediately marked as booked for those dates, so another customer can’t be promised the same piece of equipment.

Can I track each item separately and schedule cleaning time?

Yes. Each item can be set up as its own unit, so you can see which one is going out, who has it, and when it’s due back. When an item needs cleaning, inspection, or repairs, you can schedule buffer time that takes it out of availability for those dates.

How do security deposits work for baby equipment rentals?

Booqable can add a deposit to every order automatically, either a fixed amount or a percentage of the rental total. For deposits you’d rather hold than charge, you can authorize and hold the amount on the customer’s card from the back office, then release it when the item comes back or capture it if there’s damage. Either way, security deposits can be handled directly from the order in Booqable.

Yes. The mobile app lets you create or update orders and take payments at delivery, right from your phone. When an item comes back, marking it returned updates availability on the spot, so the next customer sees an accurate schedule.

Can I require a signed agreement before equipment is handed over?

Yes. Booqable generates a rental contract from the order details, including customer, dates, and items, and you can add your own terms, liability clauses, and damage policies. Customers sign digitally before or at delivery, and the signed agreement stays attached to the order.
