After a career change, Alex founded BiciCare in 2013 as a mobile bike mechanic service in Amsterdam. He focused on keeping the business small and personal while providing expert service. The company quickly established itself in the local cycling community and became one of the first Urban Arrow official dealers in Amsterdam.

In 2018, Alex expanded the business by becoming the first company in Amsterdam to offer electric cargo bike rentals. This addition allowed families and bakfiets owners to try electric cargo bikes before purchasing. The rental service complemented their existing maintenance and sales operations perfectly.

BiciCare specializes in expert maintenance for cargo bikes, particularly Urban Arrow electric cargo bikes. They serve mainly cargo bike owners and families, though all bikes are welcome. Their small, experienced team of four people is dedicated to providing personal service to each customer.

Simplifying rental operations
