We’re seeking a dedicated Tech Support Agent to join our America’s support team. If you have experience in the rental industry and love helping out our entrepreneurial customers, we want to hear from you!

Booqable is the leading rental software solution for rental companies worldwide, we help small and medium-sized rental companies streamline their rental process and accept online bookings.

With customers in over 150 countries, we’re on a mission to help rental businesses be successful by giving them the tools they need to work efficiently and grow faster.

The software consists of several components, including a backend reservation system, a website builder with multiple templates, a mobile application, API and 3rd party integrations. We are a small international company with over 30+ employees and growing. We have a flat organization and a laid-back company culture with individuals who are willing to make a difference.

What will you do?

At Booqable, our customer base is incredibly diverse. You’ll be interacting with a wide range of rental businesses, from camera and bike rentals to event and party rentals, universities, medical equipment rental companies, baby equipment rental services, and more.

You’ll help these companies with all kinds of incoming requests and technical challenges they are facing.

Due to the large spectrum of customers, there are many situations that require investigations and creative solutions.

That’s why, we are looking for a person who can empathize with our customers, comprehend the challenges they face, and offer assistance in a professional and friendly manner.

What qualifications and abilities are important for this role?

• Tech savvy (as we are an IT company)
• SaaS knowledge
• Familiarity with website builders like WordPress and Shopify.
• A basic understanding of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
• Comfort working with CRMs, particularly Intercom.
• Strong English language skills, both in writing and speaking, at a C1 level.
• Additional languages are highly appreciated.
• Real-life experience in the rental industry
• You’re self-aware, self-motivated, organized, and open to adapting to changing environments.
• You also thrive in working as part of a team
• Not afraid to jump on (video) calls.

What you’ll achieve:

• Be the first point of contact, guiding Booqable users across their entire customer journey.
• Handle all incoming conversations: answer questions, resolve and escalate technical issues, and document product feedback in our product management system.
• Support customers across various channels (chat, email, and socials) with a casual, human tone of voice.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Booqable’s features and best practices, serving as a knowledge resource for users
• Be an ambassador of Booqable, both internally and externally.
• Be the voice of the customer within the company.

Conditions:

• Competitive rate
• Full full-time, 40 hours per week (includes weekend shifts)
